🖊 लेखक ऋषि राजनारायण बसु हे १९०० व्या शतकातील एक अलौकिक व्यक्तिमत्त्व . एक शिक्षक वेदवाङ्मयाचा उपासक व अभ्यासक आणि सार्वांत महत्वाचे म्हणज इंग्रजांच्या पारतंत्र्याच्या काळात हिंदूंसाठी पहिली स्वतंत्र संघटना हिंदू मेळा स्थापन करणारे पहिले हिंदू संघटक अशी त्यांची ओळख आहे . ७ सप्टेंबर १८२६ हा त्यांचा जन्मदिवस . येत्या ७ सप्टेंबर पासून जन्म द्वीशताब्दी सुरू होत आहे . त्या निमित्ताने हिंदुधर्मेर श्रेष्ठता ‘ या त्यांच्या प्रसिद्ध गाजलेल्या बंगाली व्याख्यानाचा अनुवाद या निमित्ताने प्रथमच मराठीत येत आहे . ऋषि राजनारायण बसु यांचा हा अध्यात्मसंपन्न वारसा त्यांचे नातू श्रीअरविंद यांनी एका वेगळ्या उंचीवर नेऊन ठेवला आहे .

A new book titled “The Supremacy of Hindu Dharma,” a Marathi translation of a famous Bengali lecture by Rishi Rajnarayan Basu, is set to be launched on World Brotherhood Day, commemorating the historic address by Swami Vivekananda in Chicago.

The book launch event will be held on Thursday, September 11, at 6:00 PM

at the Dr. P. L. Gawade Auditorium, located on the campus of M.E.S.O.’s Bhave High School.

The event is organized by the Vivekananda Kendra’s Marathi Publications Division. The Marathi translation, “Hindudharmache Shreshthattva,” has been done by Ms. Swati Shidhaye. The keynote speaker for the occasion will be the renowned historian and thinker, Shri Anand Hardikar. The original work’s author, Rishi Rajnarayan Basu, was a prominent personality of the 19th century. A teacher, a devout practitioner and scholar of Vedic literature, he is recognized as the first Hindu organizer to establish the “Hindu Mela,” an independent organization for Hindus during the British rule. His bicentenary celebrations are commencing on September 7, his birth anniversary.

This Marathi translation of his acclaimed Bengali lecture, “Hindurmer Shreshthata,” is being published for the first time on this special occasion. Rishi Rajnarayan Basu’s spiritual legacy was carried to a new height by his grandson, Shri Aurobindo. The organizers extend a heartfelt invitation to all to attend the launch of this insightful book that unravels the greatness of Hindu Dharma.
